Our story

We met on a rainy Tuesday at a small coffee shop in Nairobi, both reaching for the last blueberry muffin. Kamau insisted Nia take it — she insisted he share it instead. That muffin became the first of many mornings together.

What started as coffee turned into long walks, late-night calls and the kind of friendship that quietly became something more. We learned each other's favourite songs, families and the way we each take our tea.

Three years in, on a hike overlooking the Ngong Hills, Kamau got down on one knee as the sun began to set. Nia said yes before he'd even finished the question.

Now we're planning the celebration we've always dreamed of, surrounded by the people who've supported us from that first cup of coffee to this next chapter. We can't wait to share the day with you.
